APEC Women in Research Fellowship in Peru

Application deadline has been extended to 31 May 2022.

• Up to 20 women researchers will receive up to AU$20,000 each to travel to Australia between July 2022 and April 2023, commencing a fellowship of between one and four months. Researchers will be provided with the opportunity to bring their families to accompany them, with a childcare allowance of up to AU$1,200 available to those bringing children to Australia.
• The fellowship program aims to support the careers of women researchers by providing opportunities to work with Australian experts, and have access to leading facilities and equipment to develop their own research interests and competencies. The fellowship program will also support mobility and research collaboration, foster opportunities to develop organic long-term quality partnerships between research institutions in APEC economies, and deliver high-quality research outputs.
• The fellowships are open to women researchers who are citizens or permanent residents of the nine ODA-eligible APEC economies: China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Papua New Guinea, Peru, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
