Weekly Women Entrepreneurship

Welcome to Week #2 of Weekly Women Entrepreneurship!

Next week on Montclair State University’s virtual campus we’ll focus on Innovation in Fashion and Retail.

We’re excited to feature 2 founders this week, both from the South!

First we introduce Pauline Nakios, a Charleston, South Carolina native, founded the women’s clothing company Lilla P in the Meatpacking District of New York City over 20 years ago. Lilla P is understated luxury for every day - perfect work-from-home and in-person workwear!

Additionally, we’re excited to welcome LaToya Stirrup, Co-Founder/CEO of Kazmaleje, a company that is changing the way consumers embrace themselves and their curls by developing innovative hair care tools and lifestyle accessories. LaToya is the recipient of the Walker’s Legacy Power Award, Legacy Miami 40 Under 40 Award and is actively involved in various community organizations, such as launching the Miami Chapter of Black Girl Ventures.
